Reaching your Highest Self in Life is what God has design and desire for you. Remember the Word of God concerning you. "I will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are they works, and that my soul knowns right well"

Setting goals can be difficult sometimes especially when you are not sure of what you want to do or what you are created to do. Also Goal setting can be exciting at the same time when you have a purpose in mind.
PROCESS OF GOAL SETTING
1). BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:-
Believing in yourself is the first step to setting your goals. Understanding who you are and the natural abilities that lays within you is important. When there is a self doubt the ability to function at a highest capacity is impossible. Your self believe raises the subconsciousness in you to tap into your divine self in order to release the greatness in you.
You must believe that there are great potentials in you and that you can do anything your set your heart to do. Proverbs 23:7, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee".
keep in mind that, You are what you think, and what you think becomes your destiny. So think big and positively in order to become great and impact your generation.
2). PRIORITIZE YOUR GOALS:-
Remember I said earlier that sometimes goal setting can be very exciting and also difficult. If you are like me, when I'm passionate about my goals my imagination can run wild. The key in setting goals is to stay focus by prioritizing your goals. Don't do everything at once.
Take the time and look carefully at what you have at hand, set your Vision Statement. and let that be your bedrock to work from. Determine what your end desires are or what you hope to achieve. Be intentional about it and stay focus. This part can be a bit challenging, if you find yourself drifting away in thoughts or losing momentum, stop and take a "Power Thinking Walk" and talking with the Holy Spirit for 15 minutes, after the walk, come back and regroup your thoughts.
First, I call it a "Power Thinking Walk" because stepping away from your computer or notes and focusing on the Holy Spirit in this moment will give you a fresh understanding and enlightenment in your spirit mind.
Secondly, walking helps to increase you blood flow in your brain causing you to be more alert mentally. Don't forget, one of the works of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believers is to guide them in all things. When you depend on the Holy Spirit for everything you will discover the amazing work He can accomplish through you, within you and all around you.
Remember, what God's Words say's about you in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". Yes you can certainly do all things if your step out on faith and exhibit courage beyond measure.
3). SET GOALS THAT CREATE IMPACT:-
One of the things that I have learnt in goal setting is the joy and fulfillment that I have when I accomplish my goal. It is not about getting the goal accomplished, it is about the purpose of why you are setting the goal in the first place.
Don't get me wrong, accomplishing a goal is very important, but a goal without an impact is not a goal. Your goal must have meaning and has to fulfil a need. The goal could be for yourself or for others. Which ever the case maybe, making sure that your goal has a purpose. is key. This is were SMART (Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time) comes in. It is very important that you explore this process because this is the most important aspect of your work. Again be intentional about this process.
Once you have put your goal in place, then you start working your way through the goals step by step to achieve your what you set out to accomplish. Setting short and long term goals are also very important. It help you to keep track of what you have completed and accomplish.
To keep your joy going strive to work smart to get your work done. Don't be afraid to make mistakes because mistakes helps to strengthen and grow you. Remember, no one is perfect, we all are standing tall through the Power of God.
Remember, accomplishing smalls goals are a sign post for celebration and a road map for bigger goals and greater accomplishment in life.
