PRAYER AS A WEAPON

When the enemy Satan wants to destroy a person he access the attitude and any part of that person's life that is not totally summited to God. That part of that person's life becomes an opening, a tool or weapon in the hands of the adversary, Satan.

God wants us to be an overcomer, to be a victor and not a victim to Satan. Even though Satan the enemy uses our weakness to attack us, God has given us a tool that cannot be over looked when it comes to winning the battles with Satan. That tool that the Almighty God has given is called PRAYER.

What is Prayer?

Prayer is the ultimate spiritual weapon given to believers from God to engage heaven. It is a weapon given to believers to defeat Satan and his spiritual demons of angels in high places. Prayer bring into effective action the WILL of God concerning earth.

In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus Christ taught His disciple how to prayer stating "Our Father in heaven, Hollowed by Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven" When we engage heaven in prayer, we deploying heaven - moving heaven into the action on earth for the WILL of God to take place. When we Pray we are strategically positioning the spiritual military Angels of God to take action and work on our behalf.

Why Do we need to Pray?

1), Prayer strengthens us (1 Chro 16:11, Ps 34:5) Prayer strengthens us in the time of trouble. It gives us the courage to stand firm and not fear but to find boldness in the face of God to pull through the problem.

2). Prayer Makes us Victorious (Pro 21:31) When you pray and put yourself in alignment with heavens agenda, then God will honor you with His Victory.

3). Prayer Moves the Hands of God and the Host of Angels to work on our behalf. (Ps 91:11) God commands His Angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Conclusion:

Your weapon is your Prayer life. Without prayer you become vulnerable to the enemy, Satan who seek to destroy and to defeat you in this life. Prayer is very essential in your life, as a Christian, prayer is important just like the air we inhale into our body. A Christian who prays is stronger than the enemy who attacks, because that believer is standing on the wings of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to overcome Satan and stay victorious.

When you make time to Pray, God will answer and release heaven on your behalf. Prayer is the weapon you need.
